Uncle Knit Knots is a major character on the show Imagination Movers. One major thing that sets him apart from all others is that he is obsessed with being boring, and looks down on the Imagination Movers for them being the exact opposite: exciting. He always wears his beige suit with a beige bowtie, and also owns a rock that he dubs "Rocky", with a toupee, glasses, googly eyes, and a mustache, as a resemblance of Knit Knots himself. Nina is his niece. Uncle Knit Knots has appeared in many episodes, including "Finders Key-pers". He has made a crayon pack with only beige crayons, and a music album with one boring song after another titled "The Knit Knots Collection of Tuneless Tunes". After the first season, he retires to get away from the Movers' excitement. Knit Knots was played by the late Douglas Fisher. Knit Knots appeared in Season 1 only and did not appear in the show again. However, he later returned for a Concert Special which originally aired on 3/6/2011. He also has a game on the computer which is called Uncle Knit Knots' sound swatter game, where he is sleeping and if 10 notes pass by then he wakes up.

Knit Knots is Nina's stoic uncle and a stuffy businessman who harbors a dislike for things he deems too "exciting" and would rather pride himself in finding ways to make anything and everything boring. But despite his fascination with the mundane, he still does consider himself good friends with the Movers, as he is shown to be very thankful, when thanking them for lending him a helping hand, especially when it comes to helping a friend in need.
